Once I heard about this, I too also check everyday for hidden messages ‘just in case’. Although I have noticed the hidden posts and comments on the FB pages, I haven’t been as diligent as I have about 20 of ‘em.

These were great tips. They’re not in a “hidden” inbox, it’s just not up front like other sections. And like you said, the messages in the “hidden” inbox are actually spam. Or they’re supposed to be. I had about 90 of them from March to September of this year… every single one was a spam message. But I’m glad I went in and cleaned them up.

    Katie-
Thanks I had 48 messages in that hidden box.
On another note may I ask you a FB Queston? Please and thank you for even considering it….
Recently I was messing with my admin for my biz page and in a series of mishaps it booted me as admin, and now I cannot get into my fb page! I have looked up everything that I can about this topic, submitted a bug report to fb, etc. to no avail. And you are soooo fb savvy. Any suggestions? Again, thanks for even considering this issue and I have been really enjoying the webinars, and articles.

      Hmmm… nevermind I guess
Or point me in a direction that may have an answer- I contacted Mike at Social Media Examiner and posted on his FB page my question… again, have already exhausted other traditional resources. Just might have to redo my whole Biz Page. Ugh!

Your information is always so relevant. Thanks for posting. When I opened my other messages tab I was disappointed to see a message from August that I would have liked to have received. Most everything else was spam. I like the tip about the Hidden Posts too. I had a few good comments that I unhid. Thanks Katie!

I will check it more though. Also on my business page, I had hidden posts on my wall (thank goodness only 1). I did not know about these so am very thankful you pointed this out.
